The Gift

I know I've mentioned on here that we had a little girl 13 years ago.
We were kids ourselves back then and she was adopted.
There's a million more things to say about it but it's not fully my story to tell.

Today we meet her.

  5. She's very lucky to be able to meet the two of you. I've always wanted to meet my real parents, but after 32 years, I'm afraid that time has passed.

I hope your meeting is a happy one.

    1. Hello, Chris :) Thank you for those words, I do appreciate them.
I had a conversation with my good friend today who is 38 and she was also adopted.
She expressed that she had a desire to know if she had siblings and would want to know them.... Adoption is so complex on every level. Every experience is so different, I suppose.
I hope tonight you are well :)

  9. Ok so I need to re-comment because it didn't go through. What I had originally said was that I have been behind on my comments but I have been keeping up with your posts and stuff. I am just in awe over this. I thank you for sharing this with us all, you are such a courageous woman. I hope all is well, I just think you and your family are fabulous. This is such a touching experience to read.
