A kitschy collaboration of sorts.
You know, like a kitsch collection ;)

  1. That match box is epic! The rabbit thing on the other hand, you should burn it. Burn it with hot, hot fire before it kills you in your sleep.

    1. It's some kind of stone/rock Thimble. I really thought it a candle when I eyed it but it is most definitely a beautiful, valuable piece of retro history. Which put me out a whole dollar ;) And the matchbox was 50 cents and it's full of matches! We lit some candles the other night and striking it made me feel so ooh la la ;)

  4. I thought that board game read "Candy Land", but it actually reads "Candy Man"! Is it just a different name for the same game?

And those owl! They are gorgeous, I love 'em! Good stuff Laura!

    2. Oh, derp! I totally wasn't looking close enough, I thought it was a board game! LOL!

I've been wanting to group all our owls things together. I'm afraid it will turn out to be a daunting task!

    1. When I was settin up and photographing I thought "This feels like Rae"....... I really did!
Every bit of it was Rae all the way. (totally rhymes)
And you've got my eyes bulgin'! I can't wait!
I've been hoarding stuff for a few of you this year and since it's so close to Christmas I have decided to make it all officially Christmas gifts. Speakin of Christmas, can mid November hurry up and come so I can slap out my stuff?! As you know, we moved in 3 days before the big day and the holidays were poorly under expressed on my end. I have been pickin up a little here and there all year and I will be excited to rediscover all those forgotten little elves, santas, rockin horses, googly eyed snowmen and so forth.... bet you know the feelin!

  7. Love it! I genuinely think that Bunny puppet is awesome. Probably my favorite item of the whole post. Those fireplace matches look like they have some sort of story to the images on their. I wonder if the pictures are from something like... all I can think of is like Canterbury Tales but I don't think that's right. There's just such a specific sequence of pictures there... it's really interesting.

  10. Totally digging the graphics on the fireplace matchbox! The glass with the pirate...that character was from McDonald's wasn't it? Guess he went the way of Grimace (whom I still miss).
